Guinea-Bissau: Heavy Shooting in Capital
Budd Guinea-Bissau confirms the following BBC report that heavy shooting was heard in the country’s capital (Bissau) from around 01:00 to 09:00 this morning.
Our local office advises that the situation now seems calm with activity on the streets being comparable to a Sunday in that shop’s and businesses are closed but there are still cars on the roads.
At the time of writing, there have not yet been any formal government media announcements to the local population.
