As
readers will no doubt be aware, following the loosening of sanctions, Myanmar
is opening up to the outside world with the result that the import/export trade
is booming (+7% growth in 2016-2020).

In
order to assist the increasing number of vessels calling in Yangoon’s two ports
and offer a choice of Correspondent to the Clubs and their Members in a country
where only one correspondent existed previously, the Budd Group is pleased to
announce the opening of Budd Myanmar in partnership with the Naxco-Thoresen
Group which has been a shipping service-provider in Yangoon for over three
